WHERE HAS PROUSTY BEEN?

(Well where hasn’t he…..)

His corporate functions have seen him at various places from harbour cruises to factory bays and anywhere a good laugh is needed.

During the Ashes tour, Prousty was chosen to be the MC at a dinner function at the Star City Casino, Sydney. Prousty shared the stage with such speakers as Simon O’Donnell, Jeff Thompson, Mike Gatting and Jeffrey Boycott.

Prousty was asked by the department of defence to travel to the Solomon Islands to entertain the International Peace Keeping Force with Felicity Urquhart and rock band Night Train. Prousty was tour MC and Comedian, he also ran a very successful trivia night that turned out to be a lot more than just trivia.

Prousty is a fixture at the Tamworth Country Music festival: Performing to the great crowds at the Long Yard Hotel for breakfast and allowing Fin McCool to back him !!!! at the West Leagues club, thanks Greg. A highlight at Tamworth was to be asked by his good mate Adam Harvey to perform during his sell out concerts and the crowd loved it.

National Country Music Muster in GYMPIE in August last year was sensational. Setting up camp with other mad poets, and performing every morning in a huge tent with over a thousand in the audience is a great buzz.

Prousty was asked by Beccy Cole to be MC and to “warm up” the crowd when she recorded her live CD and DVD recently at Lizottes restaurant.

Casino: even though the Beef Week was cancelled, the Cecil Hotel still had great crowds to their Poets Breakfast and comedy shows. Dave worked with Murray Hartin and Ray Essery. The shows were a huge success and the crowds loved it.

Leading up to Christmas is a busy time for Prousty with private functions. The poem Santa’s little helpers was a big hit; when you put a few blokes together to put up a swing set and of course having to wait till the kids go to bed. A few drinks have to be consumed and the rest is history.

Over the years Prousty has done a lot of charity work with a host of many great entertainers including Adam Harvey, Kasey Chambers, Gina Jeffreys, Beccy Cole, Sara Storer, Elliot Goblet, the Umbilical Brothers, John Paul Young just to name a few.
